Prof. Dr. Roger Clemens

Dr. Roger Clemens is Adjunct Professor of Pharmacology & Pharmaceutical Sciences, and Associate Director of the Regulatory Science program at the University of Southern California (USC) School of Pharmacy. Dr. Clemens served as the Director of Analytical Research at USC, and as Scientific Advisor for Nestlé USA. Dr. Clemens is past president of the Institute of Food Technologists (IFT) and the International Academy of Food Science and Technology (IAFST). He is an elected Fellow of the American Society for Nutrition (ASN), American College of Nutrition (CAN), Institute of Food Technologists (IFT), and International Academy of Food Science & Technology (IUFoST). He has published more than 80 original manuscripts in nutrition, food science, and toxicology, participated in more than 300 invited domestic and international lectures, and served as an expert panel member for the food industry, scientific organizations, trade associations, and regulatory agencies in the United States, Canada, and Europe. Dr. Clemens has been cited and interviewed by more than 500 domestic and international health journalists and has appeared in numerous televised discussions on contemporary health, nutrition, and food safety issues.
